Adrian Romoff was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began piano lessons at age four and by age seven he had played three times at Carnegie Hall where he was an American Prodigy first prize winner. At age 12, Adrian won the Grand Prize at the 2017 Paderewski International Piano Competition (Connecticut). In the summer of 2017, he studied at the Imola Piano Academy in Italy and was accepted into their academy studying with many world-renowned soloists. In September 2017 at the age of 13, Adrian made his New York City debut at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall with the American Classical Orchestra to rave reviews. In May of 2018, Adrian won first prize in the Miami Steinway Competition. At age 14 in the fall of 2018, Adrian studied at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow with Vladimir Ovchinnikov and Tatiana Zelikman.
In December of 2018, Adrian was invited to perform at the White House as part of the “Christmas at the White House” series in Washington DC. In May 2019, he won the first and the Grand Prix at the 5th Astana Piano Passion Piano Competition (Kazakhstan) with Denis Matsuev as artistic director. He received a special invitation from jury member Martin Engstroem to participate as an Artist-in-Residence at the 2020 Verbier Music Festival (Switzerland).
Adrian currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida and studies with Kevin Kenner at the University of Miami.
