HYO-EUN PARK – SOUTH KOREA (29)
Pianist Hyo-Eun Park is establishing her presence on the international stage through numerous accolades in prestigious competitions, including second prize at the Épinal International Competition in France, second prize at the Bösendorfer & Yamaha USASU International Competition in the U.S., and finalist at the Maj Lind International Piano Competition in Finland. From an early age, she distinguished herself by winning top prizes in numerous national competitions in Korea, such as the Samick-Seiler, Music Chunchu, TBC Daegu Broadcasting, Nanpa, Eumyeon, Korea Steinway, Suri, Music Journal, Korea Herald, and Busan MBC.
Park graduated with both undergraduate and master’s degrees from Seoul National University where she was awarded several prestigious scholarships, including the Sung-Jung Hwang Jin Scholarship, WIN Scholarship, and Kim Young Sook Scholarship. During her undergraduate studies, she was selected as the student representative performer and had the opportunity to perform with the SNU Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Hun Jeong Lim. She has also performed with prominent orchestras such as the Nancy Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Finland Radio Symphony, Bucheon Philharmonic, and Daegu Philharmonic. In addition to these performances, she has maintained an active schedule of solo recitals at renowned venues in South Korea such as Kumho Art Hall, Kukje Art Hall, Elim Art Hall, Salon de Musique Buam, Saemunan Classic Hall, Ewon Arts Center, and Youngsan Grace Hall.
She is currently pursuing the Konzertexamen program at the University of Music Freiburg.
