Wynona Yinuo Wang is on the roster of the Concert Artist Guild in New York City and was the 2019 recipient of the Charlotte White Career Grant awarded by New York’s Salon de Virtuosi. She has performed in prestigious venues including Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall, Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Purdue Convocations, the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, and many others across the United States.

Ms. Wang has been a featured soloist with many orchestras including the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, the California North State Symphony Orchestra, and the Meadows Symphony Orchestra in Dallas. She has performed internationally with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine and the Romanian Mihail Jora Philharmonic Orchestra in Italy.

She won first prize at the 2017 Wideman International Piano Competition in Louisiana, the 2018 Meadows Concerto Competition in Dallas, and the 2018 CAG International Victor Elmaleh Competition in New York City. She also was a top-prize winner at both the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy Competition (Japan) and at the Chautauqua Music Festival piano Competition (New York State). Other festival participation includes the International Keyboard Institute & Festival (winner of the Artist Recognition Scholarship Awards) and the 2021 Music@Menlo Festival with performances in a dozen live chamber music concerts in collaboration with eminent artists including Gilbert Kalish, Paul Neubauer, and Kristin Lee.

Born in Beijing, Ms. Wang began playing piano at age four, going on to study at the music high school of the Central Conservatory of Music. In 2016 she was awarded a full scholarship for her Performer’s Diploma under the tutelage of pianist Alessio Bax at Southern Methodist University. She lives in New York and is pursuing her undergraduate degree at The Juilliard School as a student of Robert McDonald.
